Olya Vell is a Motion Designer, Visual Storyteller, and Art Director working in 2D and 3D animation, currently completing an MFA in Computer Arts at the School of Visual Arts in New York. Her work explores how emotion, memory, and movement can be expressed through animation, typography, and abstract visual systems.

In her day-to-day practice, Olya creates motion-driven work for both brands and narrative projects, ranging from social and campaign visuals to title sequences and experimental short films. Alongside her studio work, she also leads creative direction for beauty and lifestyle brands, developing visual systems that live across digital, e-commerce, and social platforms.

She is interested in continuing to work as a motion designer and art director with studios and creative teams that care about strong ideas, thoughtful design, and emotionally grounded storytelling.

Outside of her professional work, Olya composes music as a parallel creative practice, using sound to guide the pacing and emotional tone of her animation.
